Depending on the output power towards the electrical grid, they are divided into:

• PV installations up to 30 kW
• PV installations from 30 kW to 200 kW
• PV installations over 200 kW

Depending on the place, where they are mounted, they are divided into:

• Roof and facade-mounted
• Mounted on the ground

Note:

In the Law of Renewables it is stated that in case of installation of roofs and facades of buildings, the maximum capacity of the plant is limited to 1000 kW.
